Lumbosacral trunk

Description
The lumbosacral trunk is formed from the anterior branch of the fifth lumbar nerve which receives a fasciculus from the fourth lumbar nerve. It passes downward to join the first sacral nerve. It assists in the formation of the sacral plexus.
